Achieves Transitional QML Certification
MILPITAS, Calif. - Nov. 13, 2008 - SIX SIGMA, (a business unit of Winslow
Automation, Inc.), announced today it has achieved MIL-PRF-38535 Transitional
Qualified Manufacturer Listing (QML) Certification/ Qualification for its column
attach and robotic hot solder dip processes. The Defense Logistics Agency’s
Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio (DSCC) has granted this certification
after extensive evaluation of SIX SIGMA’s facility capabilities and past performance.
“Six Sigma has held DSCC Laboratory Suitability for Solderability and Hermeticity
Testing for several years. This new achievement of Transitional QML for our
Hot Solder Dip and Column Attach services and inclusion of all of our Testing
services under Lab Suitability validates our position as the technical leader
